Migrating an operating data center to the Google Cloud
Grupo Findep is the largest microfinance company in Mexico, with operations at a continental level, and has undertaken the mission of no longer depending on physical infrastructure for traditional applications. FINDEP has implemented a comprehensive transformation strategy, such as the migration of its data centers to the cloud.
Within the Google Cloud architecture used for the migration, we highlight the use of Google Cloud Compute Engine for computing power and Cloud SQL for migration of data models to fully managed data schemas in addition to the use of BigQuery, implementation of agile development schemes with Firebase. Findep has achieved the upgrade of its technology platform, agility for service enablement and savings in the cost of services associated with the infrastructure.
The world changes, there are new technologies and ways of seeing things, with the use of Google tools, an interesting collaborative environment is achieved, in addition to saving time and economic resources’.
