Banco Davivienda is the third largest bank in Colombia with more than 19 million customers who rely on its service. Today it has a presence in more than 6 Latin American countries thanks to early innovation, where becoming a friendly, reliable and simple bank is a key feature of Davivienda.

Amarello delivered to Davivienda an analytical solution to measure the adoption and use of collaborative tools impacting more than 20 thousand users, to identify resistance to change and take actions to accelerate the digital transformation.

The results

The objective was to analyze, measure and monitor the level of adoption of Google Workspace tools in the organization. This in order to implement adoption strategies and appropriate use of this type of technology, ensuring a change in the way of doing things on a daily basis that seeks to enhance collaborative work and productivity of all employees of the bank.

The solution

Activity and indicator monitoring dashboards were built with Looker Studio and BigQuery using the real data of Google Workspace usage integrated in an automated way, enriched with additional directory information from the different organizational units, to analyze and cross-reference the totality of the organization’s employee data, which generates a considerable volume of data.

The challenge

The main benefits were to understand and continuously monitor the adoption of Google Workspace collaborative tools for Colombia, Panama, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Honduras and Miami, impacting more than 20 thousand Bank employees in the region. The consultation of information in real time made it possible to focus the actions to the teams that require it with greater speed.

Integrating the Google Cloud ecosystem allowed us to understand the teams that continue to show resistance to change and to identify pockets of efficiency due to the use of obsolete technologies that obstruct the development of digital transformation, leveraging accurate decision-making based on real-time data and allowing us to manage actions with greater agility.
